… no I am not talking about me, although I am pretty organic – I don’t have a plastic booty nor do I rock plastic funbags.
In other words, I am not a Barbie girl, but I do live in a plastic world.
However, I am very happy to announce (to myself) that I am reducing my plastic footprint. I have indeed switched to a more eco-friendly beauty process.
I am no longer using make up removal wipes, instead I have bought an amazing removal balm and reusable cleaning cloths.
The Elemis cleansing balm is now my favourite product ever – only a pea size amount of the balm is needed, and it removes all war paint along with leaving a lovely honey scented smell on your face.
The process is actually quite calming too : the balm needs massaging onto the face, then a little bit of water added and final removal with a wipe. I literally remove all the rictus traces imprinted on my face from all the grimacing I do at work.
I purchased similar cloths to these and they do the job – over and over again without me clogging our already maxxed out Planet Earth.
At a time where covidians are littering the streets with their oh-so dangerous bio-hazard muzzles, it makes me feel good to know that the only thing that is on my face at the end of the day, is a smile and a fresh skin.
With Love and Eco-friendly Hugs
