Blue Monday : The Blues or The Bloom? πŸ’™πŸ‹

Is there a Smurf hidden in my Huawei phone? This is legitimately the question I asked myself when I looked back at my phone’s gallery today (well, not really but I am bored and need some literary drama). Somehow, all of last week’s pictures from my London walks have one common point: they’re bluer than Clumsy Smurf choking on a blueberry. So what did I … Continue reading Blue Monday : The Blues or The Bloom? πŸ’™πŸ‹

Caged but Not Trapped…πŸ“Έ

… are the photos piling up on my phone’s memory card! Back when I was blogging on auto-censorship mode, I’d only post aesthetically pleasing photos that may please a potential audience. This meant that I’d waste many photos I would randomly take, and never publish them. But now, I am free, have no artificial constraints and can literally put a pic of me flipping the … Continue reading Caged but Not Trapped…πŸ“Έ

A Blast in Paris πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

As I am waiting for the Eurostar 9039 to depart towards Blighty, I am feeling  very pleased about my little allegedly evil excursion back home (eye rolling is included in this paragraph).

Sure, I did not get to take my mum out to eat at her favourite buffet.

Sure, I did not have a classic steak-frites with my dad in the heart of Saint Michel.

Sure, I did not get to see my nephews go crazy at the local soft play area whilst me and my brother just destroy crΓͺpes and coffee.

(Yeah,we like our food)

But!!

I saw all my family. We hugged, had a laugh, ate dodgy takeout and I even played the classic 90s games Worms with my bro. And I lost … Dammit!!

The Butter Glow πŸ’›

Holding on to the past is a thing of the present, because the present has no future … At that particular moment in time, I realised that for this bakery, this “2018 moment” was as good as it will ever get – at least for a while. And so I gave it a glow up, inspired by the very buttery goodie it received recognition for. … Continue reading The Butter Glow πŸ’›

Spotted : Unsanitary Insanity in the City πŸ’‰πŸ˜

This reaaaaaally looks like the kind of place I would confidently walk in to have my nose scavenged harder than a goldmine for the paltry sum of €90, and a result as fluctuating as a yo-yo dieter’s weight. And yes, this is a legit “test center” in France; and most of them are scattered opposite pharmacies. Is it perhaps to sell them the cure after … Continue reading Spotted : Unsanitary Insanity in the City πŸ’‰πŸ˜

En Voyage Γ  Paris πŸš†πŸ›€οΈ

Today I am heading down to Paris for a week, and I must say that I am pretty excited, despite the stupid state it will be in when I get there (you know, with that senseless sanitary dictatorship based on false data thing going on). I will get to see my dad’s new flat, get to play with my nephews, eat my mum’s wholesome food … Continue reading En Voyage Γ  Paris πŸš†πŸ›€οΈ

Back to the Spotlight in the Future πŸ“Έ

My evening walks have been taking me to the same places lately. A Groundhog Evening type of thing. However, I decided to switch it up a bit on Saturday and head over the Holborn / Aldwych area. It was rather nice and relaxing, and I enjoyed seeing more illuminated buildings. They don’t call me Thunderella for nothing …   Continue reading Back to the Spotlight in the Future πŸ“Έ

An Electric Night … 🌟⚑

… aka London is lit, part 2. I really enjoyed my evening stroll tonight [and totes cremated my pasta bake calories yasss], but once again I got reminded of what was once, and what is today. Seeing all the Christmas decorations and window displays truly doesn’t hit the same when all stores are closed, and the streets are littered with nasty covid barriers (like this … Continue reading An Electric Night … 🌟⚑

London is Lit 🌟⚑

…Indeed, no matter what the un-enlighted illuminati are trying to do to the World right now, they will never be able to stop London from being London, and unleash the creativity it is known for. Spotted on Oxford Street last night, some of the Crimbo displays … It sure does not feel Christmassy yet, but I really did enjoy seeing the lights and positive messages … Continue reading London is Lit 🌟⚑
